Powdered organic fertilizer production line ships to Lhasa, empowering green agricultural cycles

A customized powdered organic fertilizer production line recently passed its factory acceptance test and departed from the manufacturing base for Lhasa, Tibet. Leveraging abundant local agricultural and pastoral waste—such as yak manure and crop straw—the project will enable the harmless treatment of organic waste and the large-scale production of powdered organic fertilizer, thereby fostering green, circular agricultural development on the plateau.

To address the unique operating conditions of Lhasa—characterized by high altitude, low temperatures, and low atmospheric pressure—the production line underwent several specialized design optimizations. The core crushing and mixing equipment utilizes power systems suited for low-pressure environments; electrical control components feature enhanced low-temperature resistance; and sealing structures have been fully upgraded to mitigate condensation risks caused by significant diurnal temperature fluctuations. These design measures ensure the equipment's long-term, stable operation in the plateau environment. The entire process is tailored to the decomposition characteristics of materials in cold alpine regions, enabling efficient execution of the full production workflow: raw material crushing, uniform mixing, fine screening, and quantitative packaging.

Given the destination's high-altitude location, which involves significant elevation changes and complex road conditions, the logistics team devised a specialized transport plan. Fragile components received shock-absorbing and thermal-insulating packaging, while large equipment units were reinforced and securely lashed. A comprehensive route and stopover plan was mapped out to minimize the impact of long-distance plateau transport on the equipment.

Prior to shipment, the technical team completed a full-line, no-load integrated test run and prepared a dedicated operations and maintenance manual for high-altitude conditions. Upon the equipment's arrival, technicians experienced in plateau operations will be dispatched to the site to oversee installation and commissioning, as well as to provide systematic training for local operators.
