Disc granulators are widely used in NPK compound fertilizer production due to their stable molding, flexible adjustment, and excellent finished product quality. However, the equipment's compatibility is specific and not universally applicable to all NPK fertilizer production lines.
Firstly, it is suitable for wet-process powder granulation NPK production lines. This production line primarily uses nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium powder raw materials, which are stirred, humidified, and then granulated, aligning with the wet agglomeration molding principle of disc granulators. The produced particles have uniform pores and excellent solubility, making them ideal for processing high-quality water-soluble agricultural NPK compound fertilizers.
Secondly, it is suitable for small to medium-sized flexible mass production lines. Disc granulators are easy to start and stop, require no preheating, and are simple to adjust, making them suitable for production scenarios with medium daily output and frequent changes in nutrient ratios. The formula can be adjusted as needed, with minimal material accumulation and blockage, and no excess material waste, perfectly adapting to flexible production modes with multiple product types and small batches.

It is also suitable for high-quality commercial-grade compound fertilizer production lines. The equipment allows for precise control of particle size through adjustments to the tilt angle and rotation speed. The resulting fertilizer granules are round and uniform with minimal dust, significantly reducing material loss in subsequent drying and screening processes, and effectively improving the finished product's qualification rate and marketability.
It should be noted that the disc granulator is not suitable for high-speed, mass production lines producing purely dry, high-hardness granules. Overall, this equipment is better suited for wet-process, small-to-medium capacity, multi-formulation, high-quality NPK compound fertilizer production lines, offering outstanding overall cost-effectiveness and practical advantages.
