Recently, a 2.5-meter crawler-type compost turning machine completed material compatibility testing at our facility and was loaded onto a low-bed trailer for shipment to Jingmen, Hubei. The client primarily processes a mixture of chicken manure and straw; the material is highly viscous with high moisture content, necessitating excellent turning uniformity.

Our technical team made targeted adjustments to the standard model: the spacing of the turning drum's tines was increased from 180mm to 210mm, and wear-resistant strips were welded onto the tine faces to minimize wet material adhesion; the crawler track width was increased by 40mm to improve traction on wet ground; a detachable rain canopy was installed over the operator's seat; the electrical control box was upgraded to an IP55 protection rating; and dust covers were added to the hydraulic cylinder piston rods. During testing, the machine continuously turned the client-supplied mixture for three hours; the windrow was turned evenly with no missed spots or material clogging, and significant moisture evaporation was observed.

Before shipment, quality inspectors checked the track tension, hydraulic system pressure retention, and emergency stop function, confirming there were no leaks. A low-bed trailer was used for transport; triangular wooden wedges were driven in front of and behind the tracks, and the machine body was secured with four high-strength straps tensioned in a crisscross pattern to the trailer's anchor points. The sun visor on the operator's canopy was removed and stowed separately. A loading supervisor and the driver conducted a final walk-around inspection to ensure the straps were secure and the equipment was free of damage before signing off on the shipment.

Documents accompanying the shipment—including the operation manual, hydraulic schematic, maintenance checklist, and test run records—were sealed in a waterproof bag. The transport route follows the Erguang Expressway (covering approximately 700 km), with arrival at the client's site expected in two days. The vehicle has already departed the factory.
