Mixing Process
The vertical disc mixer operates on an intermittent batch basis within the production line. The batching system weighs the constituent materials according to the formula and feeds them sequentially into the mixing disc.
Dry materials undergo pre-mixing first, followed by wet mixing via a liquid spraying system that introduces water or liquid binders. Mixing typically lasts 2–4 minutes; once the material reaches a uniform state, it is discharged into a buffer hopper and transported to the granulator.
