Working Principle
Finished granular material enters the rotating drum from the feed inlet; as the drum rotates at a constant speed, the material is continuously tumbled and dispersed within. The coating agent is evenly sprayed onto the surface of the tumbling granules via a spray system, or—in the case of powdered agents—metered in using a screw feeder. The granules undergo repeated tumbling and mixing, allowing the coating agent to adhere uniformly and form a protective layer. As the drum rotates, the material moves toward the discharge end while being tumbled; the coated product is then discharged through the outlet and proceeds to the packaging stage.
